Another late night for me last night. Fortunately work is deathly boring this week and I don't have much to do! Huzzah. There was an open mic night at Harris so I went to see some of my pals play. It was nice catching up with Mr. John Harris, and seeing some teachers and others grads. I love watching young talented people play music they love. A couple of people really stood out. I miss being in that musical environment. I need to get back to the industry... FACTOR is looking for people. I don't know if I will apply. The job isn't particularly challenging, so it doesn't make tons of sense to move into a possibly boring job...but at least it would be in the industry I love. I don't know, we'll see. I have til Monday to think about it. What am I doing anyway, by the way?
I think in every office there is the one super nice person who tells horrifically boring stories in excrutiating detail. This one person sits right at the next desk in my case. These people are so nice you want to try to so hard to be interested, and laugh, and have an exchange with...but it just kills you. It drains my energy. If I was in a video game and you could see my energy bar at the top, it would start falling rapidly every time I encountered this character. I then need to find the fruit bonuses very soon afterwards otherwise I will lose a life, especially if I run into this character a couple of times in succession. Need....fruit....I heard Demetrius has this problem too. When he asks, "How was your weekend?" he literally gets an hour by hour replay. She always mentions that she brushes her teeth in the morning.
Going out to enjoy Winterlicious on Tuesday night, at Fred's Not Here. The menu sounds awesome. I am excited. Leaving for Ottawa in about 4 hours, YEAH! Karen's worked out a great job offer it sounds like, YEAH! WOW! Real world. Meaghan's been in Amsterdam for a whole 5 days now. Since I haven't heard from her at all I will assume she's having fun and keeping busy and/or has been lured into prostitution.
Court's CD release had the potential to be really nice if it hadn't been for a couple of rude audience members towards the end of the night. A lot of people showed up though, the music was great, and the venue was really nice. Also..."smurf house" HAHAHAHAHA oh man.
