Holy Smokes

Jesus murphy man alive, it's a journal! I'm all moved into my apartment now. Here are some pics. I just had a twenty minute chat with Paul, my new neighbour. We're kind of in the secluded end of the building so it's just the two of us. His apartment is super nice. I don't know a lot of men who have such talent for interior decorating. He is very chatty. Friendly, but chatty. I just wanted to know where the laundry room was. It's still a mess here. I've barely unpacked anything. I was so fortunate to have 3 awesome pals help me move last weekend. Without them, I'm sure my parents and I would all be dead.

Work has been mixed lately. I've been keeping very busy, but one day I was rather struck by how boring my work can be. If it weren't for the people I tell ya....they are an awesome bunch and I love them all. Here is a pic.

I applied for a new job at Universal Music a few weeks ago. They never got back to me until a couple days ago, with a generic email telling me the position was filled. I really thought I would have had an awesome chance at it. Jerks! The position was Music Licensing and Contracts Administrator. Yesterday I told a couple people at work that I applied for it...their immediate response was "Bitch!" It's nice to be loved.

In the past month Frank visited for over a week, I bought a new digital camera, I bought a cellphone, Matthew visited and we rocked out at Canadian Music Week, I've been back to Ottawa for my uncle and aunt's 40th wedding anniversary, my cousin Vivian announced she's expecting a baby in October, my cousin Evonne got engaged, and I moved and left lots of garbage in the old apartment (no one took up my invitation to take a crap in the bathtub though). Lots coming up in the next month too. Anyway, an update was long overdue.
