I'm back, for now! Sooo. What's new? Ok here's the most fun news this week. (Amusing for others, not as fun for me.) I stapled my finger at work yesterday. It was super dumb. Long story short, I was trying to disable the safety mechanism and disable it I did. I heard a "ka-chink", I felt a sharp pain, I looked down and there was a staple going straight through the tip of my finger and out the finger nail. Despite being shocked by the sight of a staple going through my finger, I yanked it out and stuck it in my mouth and swallowed some blood. Mmmm. Got it wrapped up nicely. It's ok now. Just a little hole in my nail. No tetanus so far, no infection. And I can type so it's all good.
That stapler has a lot of "kick".

Saw the Borat movie and loved it. Had my very first annual review and I got a gold star and a "You Did It!" sticker (metaphorically speaking). Had an awesome steak tonight. I'm thinking of buying a new guitar in the new year! The Gibson SG standard; problem is it's a bit pricey. My cousin Vivian had a baby this month and she's pretty Chinese lookin. Been watching 24 lately with my pals. What a great show. You can't watch fewer than 3 episodes in a row. Too much suspense!
Frank had laser eye surgery on Monday. The first couple of days were rough for him but he seems to be healing rather quickly. I'm very proud. He will be a new man! Soon he will lift buildings with his steely, laser gaze.
