ok, in light of recent events, namely the smashing pumpkins breaking up, YES I AM GOING TO SUMMERSAULT! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO, ummm me and this girl i met are doing a tribute to them. Heres the mission statement!!!! The goal of this site is to bring a dream to reality by purchasing an ice cream truck, which would be driven across country stopping in areas full of Pumpkin fans and letting them paint their tributes all over the truck. No location is too small, too big, or too remote. To get to that phase is a dream in itself. But here comes the finale of the dream. At the end of its tour, the ice cream truck, covered in layers of paint with the tributes of Pumpkin fans around the country, would eventually find its way to the Smashing Pumpkins, in which case the truck would be lovingly handed over to them. Phase I of this dream is to see how much support there is for the dream. If the support is there within a year, then the dream moves to Phase II. Phase II would require any and all Pumpkin fans to help fund the purchase of an ice cream truck. Any kind of monetary donation would be acceptable. Phase II is the most critical and most difficult part of this dream. If we can overcome the legal and monetary challenges, then the dream is half way there. Phase III would be the actual purchase and tour of the truck. Phase IV, the finale, would involve giving the Smashing Pumpkins a lasting piece of memorabilia from their fans. Amendment I The truck will be given to the band in a controlled atmosphere, we will not invade band members privacy. Amendment II All proceeds not used in the purchase of the truck and the purchase of fuel will go towards a favorite Smashing Pumpkins charity.
