Dear Brian, This is my first time since we lost you, tomorrow it will be two years already.With every day that passes your Mother is getting stronger and stronger, there was a time I didnt think she was gonna pull through losing you, but God wont give her any more than she can handle. I never gave it much thought until we lost you at such a young age, about anyones children dying, and I truly thank God every day for my daughter and my true friends like your Mom, my heart breaks every time I see her in tears,but the tears are healing her heart and mine too. We miss you ,not for your sake but for ours, it is so hard to make sense of this, we just have to put our faith in Jesus, and know that some day we will all be together again. Oh yes, Brian, if there is football in heaven I want you to save me a place at the 50 yard line at a Viking and Bears game. A message to Brian..I can't begin to say how much I miss you. With the coming of the two year mark since you left us I am so sad. I never thought my life would change the way it has...I lost you then I lost my marriage - - your Dad has never come to terms ith losing you. My heart has been broken twice. Maybe some day I'll understand how others think and react. I have thought in my mind of all the funny things we used to do as a family. The horsey rides when you guys knocked over a plant in the house. The hide-n-seek in the house with the lights off. Tormenting "Catman". Lip-sync contests. I am so glad we were such a happy family and laughed so much while we had you. I will hold on to these wonderful memories until the day I die. I am so thankful for each day you were here. I sure miss all of you! Last night I made chicken cordon bleu with fresh asparagus and a fresh strawberry pie. When I sat down to eat all I could hear was you, Chris and Brian telling Carol "look, look at that, why don't we get meals like that". It made me realize how much I miss you all.

I am so sorry to hear of your brother's death. I lost 3 of my children in 1987 in an automobile accident. It's been nearly a year since I last wrote in here. I wanted to let you know that the pain lessens as time goes by. You never forget, but it hurts a little less. I could not be more proud of Brian. He turned out to be such a good person. I know his work in juvenile detention hepled so many. I have received letters from some who thought of him as a Dad; who gave up drugs and gangs because he cared. What more could a person ask for? My heart swells with pride. I also have to tell you that Brent is a wonderful & caring person also. His brother Chris is many miles away, but also became a wonderful adult & father. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts. I was searching for my brother's memorial page, I had just submitted, when I ran across your page which is The same as mine,( Brian's memorial Page), I was very moved by your page My heart goes out to you and your family, as you see I too lost my brother at he age of 31, on May 28,1998, only my Brian died to suicide, he was a great person as your Brian I'm sure was, the would has lost to special people, but they will live on in us.
