Benjamin
Boyce
He's known
as a guy with an artistic talent...
He was
born on 23rd August 1971 in London, UK. It is no wonder that he decided
to dedicate his life to art, since his grandma - Patricia Morley is a well-known
writer, painter and sculptor. His uncle John Morley, who is also a writer,
is the author of 'The Watertrade'. His mother is a pianist and father a
cellist who performed with the most famous symphonic orchestras in the
world.Benjamin was spending his childhood between London and Amsterdam
(NL). Ever since he was a young boy he's liked classical music. 'Beethoven,
Bach and Mozart gave me my desire for music' says Benjamin, who, among
music, has a talent for painting and designing his own furniture.
Already as
a teenager he wanted to find his space in the world of art. He studied
at School for Graphic Design in Amsterdam, but he soon found out that the
school was inhibiting his creativity, so he decided to make a career in
drama. He found out that he was a born actor. He also studied at Amsterdam's
Lyceum, where he met Bastiaan.To get more experience he went on a trip
'around' the world - lived in New York, California, Israel, Egypt and Turkey.
He earned his money as a worker (doing all kinds of jobs). However his
desire for music and theatre was growing. He knew he was born for show
business. As he went back home, he acted in some Dutch TV series and low-budget
films. After meeting Bastiaan again he was really enthusiastic about the
idea of creating their own group. 'I knew instantly that that was a right
thing to do.. I finally found my space under this sun and I'm very happy
about it. The success of our group shows me, that it was worth believing
in myself' says Benjamin.
