Lee Baxter
If things
would went the way his parents wanted to, Lee would be a banker and not
one of four guys that make thousands of girls go crazy every night.
No one thought he would become a 'heart-breaker', at least his family.
But it
happened...
He was
born on 16. July 1972 in Liverpool, Great Britain. When he was three his
family moved to Cardiff, where his father worked as an electrician. Lee
grew up in Wales. He was a good kid, he never made troubles at school and
made a good impression on everybody with his kindness. "I hate violence
and injustice. It makes me wanna cry, when I hear (or watch) the news filled
with wars and terrorism. He was very shy as a kid, which didn't stop him
from joining a drama class at twelve. The wish to stand on the stage was
stronger than the fear, says Lee. Acting made me more self-confidence.
He grew a strong wish to become an actor, which his parents did not approve
of. He did not want to disappoint his parents, so he spent two years at
some bank in Cardiff. Thinking about his future bore a rebellion in him.
He went
to London, did the audition and was excepted to famous Guilford School
of Acting. This was the crucial step that he made at 18. With a lack of
luggage and lots of self-confidence he joined the anonymous crowd in a
big city of London. Bearing one goal : to become a great actor, singer
and dancer.
It wasn't
easy, Lee says. I had to put up with some famous actors; after all - Guilford
School is well-known to make world-class stars. He acted in Shakespeare's
dramas, so he had to learn the old-English language (It took me two years
to do that). I got the part in 'The Way of the World' which even brought
me to Los Angeles. Lee was chosen for the actor of the year.
He met Benjamin
Boyce in London, which was another crucial step for Lee's future. Benjamin
remembered Lee, when he joined Caught in the Act and invited him to join
the other three guys. I accepted his offer and I don't regret it at all.
Hard work, patience and persistence were paid off.
Lee loves writing poetry. You
