The first was at local 8 track studio, and resulted in five songs being recorded. This was not released in any way. The tracks were:
"Broadcast"
"Looking at you"
"Sheep Creep"
"Planet K-Mart"; and
"A Long Walk".
"Pretentious Shit"
"Geriatric Councillor"
This is Warrnambool"
"Sheep Creep"
"Planet K-Mart"
"Rollercoaster"; and
"Beat on the Brat"
The first five songs are originals, which leaves the last two to be covers. "Rollercoaster" was originally performed by The Ides of March (we found it on one of the Pebbles 60's compilations), and, plainly obvious to some, "Beat on the Brat" is by The Ramones.
These songs were released on a cassette titled "I'd rather be a lagerphone player".
"Tear my hair out"
"Tear
my hair out"
"All for you"
"Victim of environment";
and
"VB or me?"
These four tracks were later released by the band as a 7" E.P., titled "Brenda O'Connor". The E.P. was released by the band themselves on the Bloomin' Cheap label, at the end of April.
The track "Tear my hair out" also appeared on the Rabbit Records compilation "Now You Don't Remember".
