German pop duo MODERN TALKING are songwriter/ producer DIETER BOHLEN and singer THOMAS ANDERS (real name BERND WEIDUNG). In 1987 the band, one of PET SHOP BOYS' fave bands and major influences, split up, but their influence on the music scene is still present today with acts such as AQUA or MR. PRESIDENT. In 1998 the band made their comeback with a remix version of "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" and the album "Back For Good" which entered the German album charts at No. 1. It mostly features remixes of their biggest hits such as "Brother Louie", "Geronimo's Cadillac" and "You Can Win If You Want" plus new songs including the ballad "I Will Follow You". One year later they released yet another new album entitled "Alone" with 2 singles who both became international hits, "You Are Not Alone" and "Sexy, Sexy Lover".
