Kathy from Memphis gives her perspective on the Cincinnati concert!

Now how can a summer be complete without seeing a Hanson concert? Well it wouldn't be, so I was determinded to see these talented guys before it was over. After not being able to get one day off of work to go to Atlanta (bummer) I missed that show. Luckily my pal Dawn found out that they would be in Cincinnati on August 3rd.I had gotten a free Delta ticket that I needed to use before Mid Sept (how convenient) so I made my reservations to fly there and meet up with Dawn and a bunch of other fans going to the show. I also called my brother who lives in Columbus to come down and hang out with us, although he isn't a fan of Hanson he still thought it would be a great experience.

SO...5am on that glorious day I had my husband of only 44 days get up and take me to the airport to catch my flight at 7:20 am.I arrived in Cincinnati and met up with Dawn.We headed over to the hotel and met up with our new pals and my brother. After putting some lunch in our empty bellies we hung out for a while, took pictures, talked and met some other fans.

We decided to head over to Riverbend and here are some highlights of my day and night..

When we arrived we heard the sound check..too cool

Seeing Diana with Zoe, adorable...

Mackie coming up to the fence saying" no pictures", and telling the screaming girls to stop yelling! By this time my brother decided he wasn't going to the show!

Taking off with Phil to get some ice cream and having his fall apart and all that was left was half a cone, sorry Phil :-(

Seeing members of Admiral Twin walking by...really cute, too

The Show..

Hearing Admiral Twin for the first time, they rock!

Seeing everyone just going ballistic when Hanson came onstage, too wild

Zacs glow in the dark drum sticks

Ike singing solo

Tay playing the drums

Super Soakers

The encore

After the show..

Waiting for the tour bus to leave when this guy drives by and says that they are over at Coney Island. Not sure if he was trying to devert us, we sit tight. Of course they were there all along! By the time we realized it we are surrounded by guys on mountain bikes who told us to please leave. We were fooled but it was so much fun!

In a few words I can say that this concert was awesome. All the songs they performed sounded great and it was just an overall fun time! I could go on for days about all of it.Honestly I really was so happy that I had tears in my eyes. This experience was like nothing I have ever imagined. I have to say that I had one of the best times of my life at this show. When Hanson came onstage I felt like I was a teenager again. I stood up the whole time, never sat down once, I danced my booty off if I wasn't just standing there in awe. I can say this concert truly changed my life.I was in a daze for about 2 days after the show.(Just ask my husband)! After months of planning my dream had come true! I also was fortunate to meet Dawn, Michelle, Kim, Michelle, Regina, Suzanne and all there great children! and to see my brother again, too. There is nothing better than meeting Hanson fans of all ages, you guys are all great!
