John Ma has been working hard on the acoustic vesion of "What About You?" having great results. The acoustic version is simple, only voice and the acoustic guitar, no solos. Demos are being recorded.

John Ma has been making guitar tests for the heavy section of "What About You?". The recording session that happened today, was only for these tests where he got a great result. The ballad became more heavy and raw. The track was showned to some fans that aproved the result imediatelly. Fans said that "What About You?" is better than "Don't Forget Yesterday". Will "What About You?" be on the "Don't Forget Yesterday" single?
 

John Ma will be back to the studios in June to record the final vocals of "Don't Forget Yesterday" and maybe "What About You?" if the demo was finished. There's a chance to have an acoustic version of "What About You?" be recorded.

John Ma begun to record a portuguese version of "Don't Forget Yesterday", called "Não se esqueça do ontem". This version will be played to the fans and they'll judge if this song will be on the single or not.

The solo section of the acoustic version of "Don't Forget Yesterday" is ready.

John Ma will finally starts to make the first demo of the song called "Someday", before going to the studio to recording the final version that will be on the debut album titled "Brighter Day". John Ma have been making the arrangements of the acoustics versions of "Don't Forget Yesterday" and "You Are That I Need", that is still "filed". Will be this song on the debut album? Who knows...

It's being cogitade a possible BLACK HEART reunion, THIS WON'T BE A COME BACK, it's just for some gigs. The following members will be contacted: Sandro Murta (DRUMS/BACKING VOCALS) e Anderson Reis (VOCALS/ACOUSTIC GUITAR). There's a doubt about who'll be the bass player. A curious thing is that people stills ask about BLACK HEART.

Surprise! "Don't Forget Yesterday" was released by a brazilian radio station called Radio Comunitaria Novo Milênio 105.1MHZ, Amazonas, on the show called "Mistura Fina" by the Dj Marcelo Lima. It was estimated that 50,000 listeners listened "Don't Forget Yesterday". "Don't Forget Yesterday" become a hit among the listeners! YYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! How they get the song before John Ma releases the single? The answer is that Marcelo Lima is a big John Ma fan and John Ma recorded the first demo version to him. Then, Marcelo went to spent a year in Amazonia, got the show and HE decided to play the song!

It's decided that the single "Don't Forget Yesterday", will only contain this song. John Ma made this decision cuz of the delay of the recording sessions of the song called "Someday".

John Ma won't be on the auditions to replace Andy Timmons in order to be the new DANGER DANGER guitarrist. Steve West, the DANGER DANGER drummer and co-founder, said that they need someone that lives in New Jersey or in New York.

John Ma will be back in the studio to re-record all the vocals of "Don't Forget Yesterday" and it will be still produced by the brazilian well famous rock band YAHOO.

It will be recorded during January an acoustic version of "Don't Forget Yesterday"

It will be re-recorded an old BLACK HEART song, called "Everything Is Nothing Without You", from 1993. John Ma has been rearching among the fans about which version will be recorded, cuz there are two versions with different vocal lines. This song is completely acoustic, but, there's a chance to be re-arranged. The recording session will begin in January too.

Maybe it will be one more song on "Don't Forget Yesterday" single. There are two songs that have lots of requests: "Someday", another "power ballad", or "You Are All That I Need", a great HARD ROCK song on the 80's style, that had been considered "FILED" and without any chances to be on an album.

John Ma will let the fans decide the question.

That will be a delay relative to the release of the single "Don't Forget Yesterday" that was almost ready to be on the streets. All of this were caused about some bureaucrats troubles.

When the single were done, this site will cahnge to a new address, so, we'll be able to sell all kinds of John Ma merchandising, inclusively the single "Don't Forget Yesterday".

If things continuing to happen like they are happening, John Ma, will start to recording his debut album tituled "Brighter Day", in January/February.
