--Thom's Life Story------------------------------------------------------

On the twenty-first of January in the third year of the 1980's, the world was first graced with the presence of the man now know simply as Thom. His parents named him Thomas, but for the first nine years of his life he was known as Tommy. He grew up in the city of Lansing, in a small, green, ranch-style house on a small street.

Young Tommy was the second of three children to destroy his parents' lives. The eldest was born just about two years before. The third (unwanted) child was born just sixteen months after Tommy, our hero.

As a child of the 1980's Tommy grew up loving the Muppets and the Transformers. As time moved on his interests shifted to other cartoons such as He-Man and the Thundercats, although The Muppets and Transformers continued to have a special place in Tommy's heart. Once again, with the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, his interests again shifted, but his original heroes still stayed with him. Other heroes such as Superman, Batman, and Hulk Hogan also had their share of time in Tommy's toy chest.

When Tommy turned nine, he had to face a hard reality. A year earlier his father had taken a job with a company based in Troy, two and a half hours away from Lansing. Tommy's father tried to commute, but travel had made him weary. That is when Tommy's father decided it was time to move closer to his place of employment. Tommy's parents decided on a small town about half way inbetween Lansing and Troy. This town is called Linden.

With this move came new responsiblity. Tommy had to grow up a little, so he decided that it was time for his name to reflect this. He decided he now wanted to be refered to by the more adult name of Tom.

Tom's parents made the decision that he and his brothers were going to attended a private catholic school the neighboring town of Fenton. The school is St. John. Tom made a few friends there, but not too many in his first couple of years. They came in seventh grade with Tom's new found ability to make people laugh. Tom became good friends with all of his twenty-eight classmates. Unfortunatly those friends ships would dissappear.

After eighth grade it was time for Tom to move on. St. John's school ended after eigth grade. Most of his classmates attended the only Catholic high school in the area, but that is half and hour away. Tom knew this journey everyday was rediculous, so did his parents, especially because Linden High School was only 3 minutes away. So he ventured into high school with no friends and only a few acquaintances. Fortunatly those acquaintances happened to want to further their relationship with him and become friends.

Now a year later, Tom has once again gone through a stage in life where he felt it was necessary to change his name. This time he decided to had a silent 'H' to his name.

Thom plays football and runs track for his high school teams. Altough not too great at track, Thom was a starting defensive end for the JV team his sophomore year. Besides sports he keeps busy with his job at a local country club where he has just started as a dishwasher.
