Toshi Nagai has been a supporting member of Glay since the SPEED POP GIG '95. He was first acknowledged (in 1994) at Kyosuke Himuro's live concert at Yokohama Arena. His powerful drumming gave a strong impression. GLAY asked Toshi to support them because Teru and Hisashi saw Himuro's live. The characteristic of Toshi's music is not only both powerful and impressive play, but also intelligent, which is different from others. Toshi became a fan of English music because of punk (rock) and he studied Jazz and Fusion music. His style is a mixture of British rock, Jazz, Fusion, and hard rock. You can hear his style in his solo album "Mind Drum."

BIOGRAPHY:
1970: Influenced by his older brother, he started playing the drums when he was 6 years old.
1983: When he was 18, he came to Tokyo and started to become more professional.
1996: November 30, TDK (record company) produced his solo album, MIND DRUM. Code number: TDCT-1148.
1999: July 21, Toshi releases his second album, D.O.S. Drum. Glay members joined in producing this album.
