WHAT KIND OF UPBRINGING DID YOU HAVE?: Upper-midle class. My parents were heavily involved in politics and I found myself being the same way during my school years. I was involved in the political turmoil of the time and there were riots that upset the entire school system in the United Ststes. I eventually found myself dropping out of my school.

WAS YOUR FAMILY MUSICALLY INCLINED? There was always music in the house. My parents listened to folk and classical and my brother played acoustic guitar.

WHAT WERE YOU GOOD AT IN SCHOOL?: Hanging out! Subject-wise, social studies and history intrigued me.

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE AS A KID?: A rock 'n' roll star or the President of the United States because of the political influence. My mother was President Kennedy's campaign manager in New York in 1960. But once the Beatles came into my life, I settled for music.

PROFESSIONAL JOBS OTHER THAN AS A MUSICIAN: A waiter and the assistant manager of a hardware store.

MUSICAL TRAINING: I had four weeks with a guitar teacher. In junior high school, I had taken string bass for six months but the music teacher was a psychotic and would regularly throw you out of class for attempted murder!

EARLY INFLUENCES: I was partial to English rock and went through phases of liking the Beatles, the Stones, the Who and the Kinks.

FIRST CONCERT ATTENDED: The Stones in 1965 at the Academy of Music in New York.

FIRST RECORD BOUGHT: I Wanna Hold Your Hand

INSTRUMENTS YOU PLAY: Just guitar

FAVORITE TWISTED SISTER SONG: Without a doubt, the COME OUT AND PLAY album - it's the most advanced work we've done as a band.

MUSIC YOU ENJOY LISTENING TO: A vast cross-section of contemporary music.

ANY TYPE YOU DISLKIE: I'm sure there's a lot I dislike, but since I don't listen to it I really don't spend time disliking it.

IDEAL MEAL: Either Italian or Chinese

FAVORITE DRINK: Gatorade

ALL TIME FAVORITE ALBUM: A complation of tracks from the following: Bowie's ZIGGY STARDUST, Loud reed's ROCK & ROLL ANIMAL, MOTT by Mott The Hoople, LED ZEPPELIN I & II, AC/DC's HIGHWAY TO HELL & BACK IN BLACK, Beck's TRUTH, ELECTRIC LADYLAND & AXIS/BOLD AS LOVE by Hendrix, the Beatles WHITE ALBUM, BEGGARS BANQUET by the Stones and a host of others.

PARTICULAR LIKES: Working-out and running

PET HATES: Golf

FAVORITE TV SHOW: The Honeymooners

FAVORITE MOVIE: Either the Godfather saga or Citizen Kane

FAVORITE ACTOR: Jack Nicholson

FAVORITE ACTRESS: Greta Garbo

MOST INTERESTING PLACE YOU'VE VISITED: Nuremburg, Germany or Brooklyn, U.S.A.

HAPPIEST EXPERIENCE: The ongoing success of Twisted Sister

MOST SHATTERING EXPERIENCE: With twisted Sister there have been many - every turndown by a record company up to and including Secret, which got us a deal for an album but later collapsed.

MOST TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE: being involved in an armed robbery in New York when I was 10 and having a gun put to my head!

PERSON YOU ADMIRE MOST: Any self-made man

PROUDEST MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE: Managing Twisted Sister from 1976 to 1979... that's a long moment! Also, finishing the New York City marathon in 1981.

MOST EMBARRASING MOMENT: Without being specific, any gig where the production is so bad, where you would be grimacing in anticipation of leaving the stage. over the years, there have been 10 or 20 such shows, where everything went wrong. There's nothing more embarrasing than being in a situation where things are beyond your control.

MOST FOOLISH THING YOU'VE EVER DONE: When I was a waiter, i stepped on a bride's train, ripping it off her head... needless to say, i got fired.
