Pink Floyd founders Syd Barrett and Roger Waters undoubtedly had no
idea what impact their "new age technology" efforts would have on
the music world. But 3 decades later, their music is still mainstream and it influences aspiring musicians around the world. Dark Side of the Moon is by all definitions one of the greatest
rock and roll albums. Having seen Pink Floyd in concert without either founding member, I was extremely impressed
by the performance of David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright. From Atom Heart Mother to The Wall (that's alphabetical
order, not chronological) Pink Floyd has remained on the cutting
edge of rock music.
