MUSIC!!! Mah fay-vrit!

I usedta be this die hard Metallica freak. Had the Metallica website going on..fan club..everything. Then they pulled that stupid stunt that they pulled. No..not the Napster thing (jes one of many stupid stunts they pulled I guess). The one I am referring to is where they gave a free concert for the inmates at San Quentin and told them all "We Love You Guys!!". I wonder if James Hetfield would feel the same about those inmates if one of them say..raped and murdered his little girl..or his wife. No different really cause thats what lives in San Quentin and seeing them not only put on a FREE show but to also say We Love You to a group of hardened criminals just ruined any respect that I had for that group. Hell they wont even perform for free for their true fans but they will for a buncha convicts? Yep..thats when I knew my affection for that group was dead. Currently, my favorite band is DISTURBED!!! Please click and scope! They are great!! I just love the lead singer,David Draiman. He is sooo sexy and their music (although some of the songs sound rather similar) just gets me jammin when I hear it. I think they are worthy of my respect and adoration so until they do something stupid like Metallica..they will remain my favorite band.

I am fond of all types of music really..not just metal ;o) I love the 80's classic rock thing. Ozzy is great! Think he and his family should stay offa tv though. My music tastes are so varied that it makes it really hard for me to narrow down any particular type or band to a 'favorite'. So many people talk bad about the 70s but I liked it! Boogie Nights..Boogie Fever..Boogie anything I just love to lissen to it. Even the 60's (which were pretty much right before my time) get me goin. The Beach Boys, Frankie Valli, The Drifters, The Monkeys..you name it..I likes it!

What I absolutely cannot stand and have no tolerance for is OPERA!!! AGH save me from Pavarati? Or however ya spells his name. And classical. Bleh. I cant think of anything more boring than listenin to classical instrumental stuff. Obviously everyone is different and there are millions who actually DO like it..but this is MY MUSIC page heh not theirs ;p

I love alot of today's Alternative more then anything I guess (well aside from Disturbed of course). I am a huge fan of Linkin Park (my Dragon's favorite) as well as Jet and Creed and Pearl Jam (more rock I think than alternative) and Incubus and Hoobastank (no it is not as bad as it sounds!).
