Jewel's Stuff!

Like a little girl
Dressed in fine lady's clothes
I would step into your robes of
Vemilion, crimson, and gold
And once on, my every fiber would become one with the fabric
Shimmering and magical
Wisps of clouds would be my hair
And frame my face of stars.....

The hour of passing is upon us
Would you hold me as tightly in death
As you did when the blood still coursed through me?
Or is the memory of me fleeting as the life that fueled it?
Kiss me now with tender lips...
For the time draws near when I shall feel your affections no more
Already my skin grows ashen with lack of breath
My mind muddled as if poisoned by drink
I fear I shall not gaze upon your loving face much longer
Remember these words when my form has lost its animation
Only you I have loved so completely
Even as the cloud of apparitions leads me to my grave
I will think only of you
And perhaps this love can deny death...
So that I may feel your warmth again

...And he was there
Just as she knew he would be
Never was there a happier moment in her Life
No Dream could ever compare
He thought of how lovely she was when she stepped into the clearing
Such beauty, such grace
Her skin so light and flawless one would almost be afraid to touch it
An angel, she had to be
He laughed at an image of glorious wings
Tucked beneath her subtle white gown
She reminded him of a child...
Trusting ... without a care
"I knew you'd come, my love."
She touched his cheek with a trembling hand
Her voice was soft ... how it soothed
And that touch...
it stole from his very soul a shudder as it was gentle
Intimate
He didn't have to speak
So much feeling was shining in his emerald eyes...
And she was entranced by those eyes..
wonder written clearly on her innocent face
He couldn't help the sigh that escaped his lips
Onto the stallion he lifted his angel
And this place they left
Into the trees.... into the night
Never again to part
In this everlasting darkness
They had found the light

Another day,
Things left unsaid,
Where once my heart,
An empty place instead
Put on a phony smile
While inwardly I weep
Pain, sorrow, apathy,
Life sells all these cheap
Going down the narrow path
Contemplating left or right
It doesn't really matter,
Because neither looks too bright
Life is prolonging
It's right that I am leaning
Then maybe there at very last,
I shall find some meaning

Come into these arms again
And lay your body down
The rhythm of this trembling heart
Is beating like a drum
It beats for you
It bleeds for you
It knows not how it sounds
It is the song of songs
Once I ahd the rarest rose
That ever dared to bloom
Cruel winter chilled the bud
And stole my flower too soon
Oh, lonely days and hopeless nights
To search the ends of time
For there is no other world
No greater love than mine

Wisk the stardust from your hair
Sweet child, insanity hides in your blank stare
Slipsliding; losing your mind
Goblins of greatness are disguised in your smile
Sweet Child, your intellect blows them away
Your delicate ageless wisdom awakens generations
Sweet Child, you don't know your intuition
Ruler are you of sun, moon and stars
Sweet Child, you heal the wounds, but leave the scars
