The Jesus Punx claim that they are born on planet neptune. Only Douglas said that he descend form a pangalactic prophet based on one of the moons around neptune. So childhood for the four Jesus Punx wasn't any funny, temperatures are way cool in the outbacks of the solar system.

They hit the road when they are five and arrived earth at seventeen, released some 7 inches on a Martian independent label and finally topped the charts with their 1997 album "No Head No Brain". Being a guest in several talk shows after the beginning of their big success story they split the nation into Jesus Punx enthusiastics and anxious parents who protest in front of concert hall doors with banners like "Don't expose our children to this hideous noise!".

Anyway, the music press loves the Jesus Punx.
