Cliff Burton was the first steady bassist for Metallica. He appeared on "Kill 'em All", "Ride the Lightening", and "Master of Puppets". He was a very gifted musician, having gone to college for music. He introduced the band to harmonies and melodies. In 1986, Cliff died in a bus accident.
