This is my tribute to my favorite painter and artist, Mr. H.R. (Hans Ruedi) Giger, the Swiss surrealist artist. Born on February 5, 1940, in Chur. A painter, sculptor, architect and designer, Giger is the originator of the unique Biomechanical Style and the creator of the " Alien" lifeforms and their otherworldly environment, as seen in the Twentieth Century Fox films.

Most of us know Giger from the films Alien, Aliens, Alien III and Alien the resurrection. But he is also an incredible painter and does most of his works with an airbrush.

He has besides the Alien designs made designs for the films Species, Dune and some horror scenes in films like Poltergeist II. He also makes a lot of sculptures and has exhibitions all over Europe and the United States.
