Some Interesting Facts
I have a Tokay Gecko she is about 6 or 7 years old now.
I got two of them from a friend who didn't want them anymore my friend also got them from someone else who didn't want them. I can see why they didn't want to have them anymore but I like the one I have the other one died a month or so after I got them they didn't get the best care from their old homes.
The one I have now barks alot and is realy loud and likes to do it at 4:30am. This page has a wav file of a tokays call The tokay page.
In Malayan towns kids would sometimes tie a tokay to a string and lower it from a roof or window onto someones hat and when the toe pads and claws stuck they would pull up the hat.
In some places the tokay is a symbol of good luck.
