THE DANDYS "I WANNA BE LIKE YOU"

T IN THE PARK SAT 11 JULY,
WHAT HAPPENED !!!

We got to T in the Park for 10.30 am, they weren’t letting us in until the gates opened at 11am. Luckily we were quite near the front so it didn’t take long to get in. We strolled in through the gates, the sun was just shining, it was a beautiful day ! We headed for the Radio 1 Evening Session Stage, cos I was taking my friends to see the Dandys ! The had recently heard their album because of me, and were suitably impressed. I thought this was a really good opportunity to introduce my friends to the onstage charm of the Dandys. The sun was beating down, it was now 11.45am, the doors had not opened to the tent, What is going on ! we thought. So we sat in the sun outside the tent, enjoying a few brandys. There were loads of people waiting, sitting and standing about in the sun. Stuart from the Seahorses was waiting with his mates to get in too. I looked at my watch again, 12.30pm. What’s going on !!! I went up to one of the Secuirty guards, and loads of people followed me, "what’s going on ? can’t you tell us ?" still no answer. By this time there were hundreds of people sat there, there waiting for the Dandys ! Soon people started walking away. This was so dissapointing. We finally got informed that they PA system was not working and it wouldn’t be working for a few hours, therefore the Dandys were cancelled, WHAT !!!! This was so unfair, I couldn’t even imagine how gutted they would have been themselves.
