Obertura

Obertura was born on October 25, 1997 in Ciudad Ojeda, Zulia St. Venezuela (South America)

On that day the band made their first jamming appearance; playing some covers and making their

first song.This being a new challenge for each one of their members.

The founders and present band members are: José (Bass), Norlando (Guitar), Ranfis (Vocals),
Hernando (Lead Guitar), Fernando (Drums). All the band members were pleased to performing
Death Metal Music.
The band thanks to Rafael (El chino) for his help and support since the begining.

Up to now the band has been presented in local areas getting great acceptance and support by the
followers of Metal.

Obertura had the chance to participate in their first festival, (Metal y Violencia) of Metal in Valera,
Trujillo St; 03/22/98. Getting the attention of organizers to participate in next concerts.

The band plans to record their first domestic-cd, as soon as they gather the necessaries resources
to begin this project; defining for this all the lyrics in Spanish which reflect facts expressed as
clearly as possible to define a real message expressed in an unreal language.

Obertura is the Spanish word for "Overture"
