Greatest Pals Are Always Missed
School's out, bring on the tissues!
This was definitely the best year of my life - thus far. After being so scared in that school, I made a lot of great friends, and even some not so great...and even lost some. But it was all for good. And some of the following people are the some of the best friends I could ever have this year.
They've all just completed their 8th grade year, and are now going on to the high school this fall, a whole 'nother building about 10 blocks away from the junior high. I, for one, am going to miss those people.
Here's a little tribute to the best soon-to-be freshmen. These are things I want to say to them, but I didn't get the chance. I couldn't write it in the yearbook, either because they didn't have one, or they didn't ask me. But anyway, these are the people I'll miss the most.
- Jared Osborn - Oh my god, SUCH a sweetie! Never will I find a guy as nice as him. Well, maybe one guy, but thats it. He would always get me to laugh at school dances, him and Jef Hoover. He'll get a laugh out of anyone. Jared, I will definitely miss you...if you pass! Hehe...I will miss you though. You're one of those people who can't help but be liked. I'll miss seeing you in the halls, buddy.
- Mo Harter - Yo Mo! One of my first friends here. Really great gal to be around. Really gonna miss ya Mo! You're one of them incredible people, don't change! I'll be seeing ya!
- Justin Barnes - Another very sweet guy. This is the other guy I was talking about in Jared's tribute. But anyway, Justin, even though I don't know you all too well, you're still a great guy to me. See ya in 2 years, bud.
- DJ Bruns - The guy who "knows the right time to swear." Right DJ? Ha... Gonna miss ya, DJ.
- JT Sleight - Fun guy to have in phys ed class, thats for sure. Very nice once you get to know him too! Very sweet also. JT, you will be missed so!!
- Nick Howell - Hehe, don't get me started on him! He hates me taking his picture, but I still got him. He's very nice and very funny once you get to know him....if you haven't gotten on his nerves yet (Krystle!). Yo Nick, even though I won't see you in person that often (see ya at Kim's though!), I'll still have all those pictures! Ha! I'll be missing ya, dude! (But I'm not the only one!)
There's plently more people, but I'm going brain dead, and I can't remember anyone else. Thanks to all of those who made the 1998 - 1999 school year a little bit better for me in their own way, especially the people listed above. Thank you ALL.
To all the newest freshmen to enter Lakeview High School in fall of '99, you will be greatly missed at the JR High!
