The Cure is without any doubt the band that won my teenage attention. They got me into the gothic genre quite easily, and when I think about it now. That's not strange. I mean, just listen to some of their wonderful lyrics. As always you can click all pics on my page to see them in fullsize.

I went on their Wish-tour when they came to Sweden 1992 and it was a great concert. The "warm-ups", The Cranes were amazing as well and I remember the anti-klimax of walking out of the Globe arena in Stockholm. Out to the concrete, away from the other freaks, away from the wonderful experience I just had. It truly sucked. But I am sure that I would get disappointed if I saw them again, cause nowadays they write songs that I'm not very fond of.

Like I said earlier, I'm not very fond of their later recordings. It's not the Cure I started listening to. Kinda disappointing actually, but I guess they have to make money too. Nevertheless, this is the band that has touched me the most. Endless, sleepless nights in front of a burning candle with The Cure playing in the background. Mmm..memories, memories. * grin *
