METALLICA
Shows I've been too!!
Milwaukee, WI  2-14-97
The Bradley Center
Good thing I skipped out of my parents 20th anniversary party to attend this one!  The Load Tour with the kick ass stage in the center.
Pecatonica, IL  7-5-98
Winnebago County Fairgrounds
Besides two hours of standstill traffic the concert with 45,000 fans was great, except the acoustic set.  Extra fireworks and pyros for Enter Sandman because of the 4th of July weekend.
Milwaukee, WI  7-26-98
The Marcus Ampitheatre
The Wisconsin crowd is definitely better than the Illinois crowd, but then again so is our NFL team!!  Came out with Breadfan instead of Helpless like the prevoius show.  Part of the Reload Tour.
Chicago, IL  11-19-98
The Aragon Ballroom
The Garage, Inc. show, need I saw more.  Pushed my way to the third row, and had hold of Jaymz' tank top that he threw in the crowd.  The security made me let go, they said the guy had it already.  I would have wrestled it away from him, he was a huge nerd.  Probably a fan of the acoustic set!
Detroit, MI  12-31-99
The Pontiac Silverdome
NEW YEAR'S EVE!!  Suprisingly cool setlist, and party at midnight, definitely worth the 6 hour trip.  $5.50 for beer at the place, and it was Labatt Blue??  Shitty just like the Detroit Lions.
Milwaukee, WI  1-3-00
The Bradley Center
By far the best show I have ever been a part of, even better than the Garage, Inc. show.  I got to meet Jason backstage, and had front row between Jaymz and Jason all night long.  VH1 taped the show and the camera was shoottin' me and my buddies all night long.  I caught a cup that Jaymz' threw at the end of the show.  I had hold of Lars' drumstick but once again the guards broke it up, they said he gets it.  They must have felt sorry for him, because I was yanking his arms out of socket to get the stick out of his grasp.  Oh well, so I knocked him down during the last song!!!
Chicago, IL  1-4-00
Allstate Arena
Hurtin' from the two previous shows I made my way to Chicago, with my buddy.  This was his first show of this tour.  After a few beers I was back in the mood and a wide variety of girls showing of their Hooters, got me ready for the show!!
Chicago, IL  7-22-00
Chicago Motor Speedway
Cool setting for a rock show.  Over 90,000 people at the speedway.  Stone Temple Pilots was definitely the second best band, behind Metallica.  I've never really been a fan until I saw them live.  I got up to the front somehow, again at this show.  Huge stage, and a very heavy sound which, doesn't bother me at all.  Some wus behind me said that Metallica sounded like shit, so my cousin and I lifted him up and the corwn body passed him a ways back.  I finally got to see them play Battery live, but I felt like I was the only guy that new the song.  Old fans are still the best!!
