Back To Concert IslandBack To The BoatOn Saturday tickets went to sell for a BSB concert and i told my mom about it like a week before they went on sale. Anyway the Friday before they went on sale i told my mom to please wake me up early in the morning so we could try to get tickets. That Saturday morning i found out when i woke up my mom wasnt home so i waited about an hour then she came home. I asked her where she was and she said i just went out. Anyway she said "im sorry we didnt get to get the BSB tickets" and i said "well thats ok there are other concerts. "
When Christmas came i was really excited because i kind of had a feeling that my mom had gotten the tickets and just didnt tell me. On Christmas morning after i had opened all my gifts i got kind of upset 'cause i didnt get the tickets. That nite my mom told me to help move my cousins presents so i did and when i came back i saw a gift to me under the tree and i said mom i forgot one of my presents this morning, she said well go on and open it so i opened it half-way and when i saw the ticket in a frame i just fell to my knees screamin' and cryin'. My dad had to catch me because he thought i was going to faint. Well the concert happened to be on a very special day, Brians birthday. The concert was in Greensboro, North Carolina about 3 hours from me.
So we left my house around 2:30 and got there like at 5:30 the concert didn't start until 7:30 so we went and ate at a nearby Mcdonalds. we left there about 6:30 and headed back to the Colesium which was about 1 mile from the mcdonalds we ate at. A group called the Jungle Brothers came out and was singing "when i say Backstreet, u says Boys" and that really got us going. I had upperlevel seats but i was in the 7th row on upperlevel so we could see real good. The jungle brothers got off stage about 7:50 and said the BSB would be out in a few minutes well it turned out they didnt come out until like almost 9:00. The lights went out then came back on. Then a few minutes later they went back out and then there was a flash and red smoke commin from behind this big curtin like thing then the guyz came up on some type of boards and was doing all kinds of flips. When they got on stage they started going around and saluting everyone. Then larger then life came on and the guyz started dancin'. When it was Nicks turn for sayin a few words he said "how u all like my hair" we all started to scream then he said "aight ill keep it like this for a while." Then AJ got up and said now i do this to all the guyz here who have a birthday while we are on tour and he said "Brian come here a sec" so Brian came over and the other guyz followed and then they sang Happy Birthday to Brian. (Of course we all joined in to.) The concert was over at about 11:30 or so that nite but i had a really good time. It was the best concert i ever went to even though i didnt have any close encouters with them.
