Back To Concert IslandBack To The BoatOk...so it may seem a little strange....I'm a 28yr old with a 36yr old husband who was NONE TOO THRILLED about waking up at 6am to catch a flight to St Louis for a BACKSTREET BOYS concert. We got to St Louis around 10am and rented a car and went for our own little tour of the city to make time pass before we had to go to the TWA arena for the concert. Mind you all this time he was complaining about how he couldn't believe that his ADULT wife was bringing him to a BSB concert (what a tradgedy huh? LOL). Finally after getting lost in the city.....touring the Arch and walking to the Arena from our hotel (thank goodness it was just across the street) we found our way to our seats....not the best...but hey...i could see Kevin and Brian and that's all that mattered to me! The Jungle Bothers came out to warm up.....they were ok...I personally dont like the rap scene so i was impartial either way. Then came out this Britney Spears wannabe girl who was just terrible, she got off the stage 20 minutes later. FINALLY at 9 something out came the BSB on cables and surfboards.....AMAZING...got goose bumps and chills seeing that......there they were the BSB and I was within an arms reach of Brian! Ok ok ok..i'm a married woman..but hey a girl can have her dreams too you know! Well.....the concert went on.....and I noticed my husband was actually smiling......SINGING (after he swore up and down he didnt know any of their songs) and having the time of his life!
Now.....needless to say.....he's a BSB fan too......AND...he's ready for the Black and Blue Tour...just as long as I dont haul him off to some "foreign country" to see it. I work for an airline...so I am one of the very few that had an oppurtunity to find tickets SOMEWHERE to see them....as all THREE tour dates here in Houston were sold out full. I guess next time we will have to go somewhere exotic.....like....oh lets say Europe to see them........HA....if i can only get the husband to agree to that..........
