Well, first of all, I guess I better introduce myself! My name is Stephanie and I live in St. Louis. It all started out when I got to the dome at 6:30 with my mom. I got a program book (which I have to say is cool, so if you are going to a concert, I recommend it.) and we went to our seats. They were pretty good seats...just a little bit off of the floor. At 7:30, the Jungle Brothers came out and they were really neat! They were rappers, and did this little thing that they were saying: When I say Jungle, you say Brothers, when I say Backstreet you say Boys! That got the crowd going! They were on stage for about 20 min. Then came Willa...I have to say, I didn't think she was that good. Her songs seemed like they were mostly about the same thing...how she wanted to be bad. She got off of the stage around 8:20, but the BSB didn't come out until 9:00. I heard that they came out so late because Nick had a stomach ache. The first song they sang was Larger Than Life and came out on the surf boards! They went around the whole stage and saluted everyone. The next song is Get Down and that was really cool. The One was next and I thought that was performed really well. Next is when they each introduced themselves. Nick talked about the Backstreet Project and how it was a dream of his. AJ came out next and said that there were a lot of sexy ladies in his house tonight. Oh, while I'm on AJ, his hair was yellow! Not blonde, but yellow! After all the guys got done introducing themselves, they sang As Long As You Love Me and did the cool chair dance! Next is Don't Wanna Lose You Now and after that is Quit Playing Games. During QPG, the guys were flying around. I was mostly on Kevin and Nick's side. AJ and Kevin were doing a lot of flips and Nick acted like he was falling. They then sand The Perfect Fan and had the 5 mothers and daughters on stage a dedicated the song to all the mothers in the audience. Kevin started to play the piano and it went into Back To Your Heart. Nick played the drums during this song too. Then they did a medley between Everybody, We've Got It Going On and That's The Way I Live It. Afterwards, the band played some Little Richard while the guys took a short break. When they came back out, they sang Spanish Eyes, I'll Never Break Your Heart and No One Else Comes Close in the round. Nick had his hair slicked back. Next is All I Have To Give and they did the nifty hat dance. Next is Show Me the Meaning, and Howie explained how the song was the last song Denniz PoP helped produce with them before he died. Now it's It's Gotta Be You and in the middle Nick stopped it and had the battle of the dancers! When they went to introduce Howie's side, Howie came up as MC Funky D, and Howie was rapping while the dancers were dancing. They continued up into the song and all this confetti came shooting out. There was a lot of confetti!!! And finally, I Want it That Way was the last song. Brian, Howie and Kevin all had on St. Louis Rams jerseys in honor of the SuperBowl Champs! Over all, this concert was very awesome, and if you are going to one, you are going to have the time of your life!
Thanx for sending this in Stephanie.
