You say
I don't know what I want
That I'm a dreamer
Always asking what if.
I do know what I want.
I want a castle
And a love
And glitter
And sunsets
And a pegasus
And poetry
And clouds
And sunshine.
I know what I want
You just don't know how to give me
Harmony
And peace
And dreams
And rain
And flowers
And music.
You don't understand
That when I say
That I love a song
I don't need the cd.
When I say
That I'm hungry
I don't need a meal.
I just need you
To sing with me
And walk with me to McDs.
When I say I want you
I don't need your bed
I need your arms around me.
When I say
That I'm not completely ready
For a monogamous relationship
I'm not wanting an end
I'm just wanting our friendship
That strong bond
That has disappeared over the last 8 months
Here again
And by taking this step back
Maybe we can take back
That friendship that we used to have.
