Mirror Mirror

Mirror mirror on the wall
Who's the biggest fool of all?
There's no need to say
I can see
That the biggest fool is me.

Oh he is a fool
To throw away what he can have
For someone he would only lose
But from the start
I knew
My heart
Would be broken too
And I still tried.

Mirror mirror on the wall
Why could I not merely look into your truthful depths
And see what was right in front of me
But instead I had to wait
Taking the bait
And feeling the friendship towards me
Personally,
And watching his eyes turned away,
Watching her.
