The Wiccan Rede

The Wiccan Rede states, "An it harm none, do what thou wilt."
An is an archaic English form of if. So, I guess in modern English, it should read, If it harms none, do what you will.
Ok so what does THAT mean?
Very simple. Very easy. Essentially, "Don't hurt people."
Another part of the Rede is the three-fold law. Basically, whatever you send out, will come back to you three times. So if you send out bad energy, expect bad things to happen, and vice versa.
To me, the whole thing is dealing with consequences. It's merely a guideline that says "If you do bad things, bad things could happen to you." It's common sense.
I guess that is why I'm not Wiccan. I have no problem doing bad stuff, if I feel it is the right thing to do. I am prepared to live with the repurcussions of my actions, good and bad.
So live as you will, and let others live as they will.
