    10. 1. We do not have time to go into all the different explorers who came to the New World for various reasons. Find out more about any of them and report on it. Explorers: John Cabot, Verrazano, Jacques Cartier, Amerigo Vespucci, Samuel de Champlain, Henry Hudson.
    11. 2. Report on Columbus' other three trips. A good source if you can get it: the PBS documentary videos on Columbus. Also, Time did a spread on Columbus back in September of 1992. You may be able to find this in a library.
    12. 3. Watch the PBS video "The Columbian Exchange", and report on it. If you would like to do this, we have the videos here at school, and I can get it for you and you can view it in an advisory or something. It's excellent.
    13. 4. Make a map showing Columbus' route for each of the four trips.
    14. 5. Make a map showing the routes of the explorers in #1. You'd have to do them all!
    15. 6. Did Columbus, by his trip, prove the earth was round? Explain.
