I started playing guitar about 10 years ago. I bought my first guitar, a black and white Kramer Electric, from my brother for $150. I still have that guitar today.

In late 1995, I met Doug Saltzgiver who was also an avid guitar player (The first time I heard him play guitar he was playing a cover of Sammy Hagars "Give To Live". It sounded flawless). We started talking and decided to get together to play a few songs. Later on, we decided to form a band and we recruited a common friend by the name of Greg Hann to play drums. We decided to call the band "Doppler Effect", although there were a few other names that were almost chosen. I remember looking at some other names such as "Christopher Robbin's Revenge" and "Dry Rain", just to name a few. Anyway, I really enjoyed playing music with Doug and Greg, and the year and a half that Doppler Effect was together was a blast. I have included a few of the songs that Doug and I recorded during some practice sessions up above in RealAudio format. If you don't have RealAudio, go to http://www.realaudio.com to download it. I hope you enjoy the songs.

Later on I formed a band with my brother Dave, which we decided to name "Suffer For Sound", which was named after a never released album by one of our favorite bands, The Tubes. Writing songs with my brother have been some of my favorite memories ever. I have the best brother in the world. Some of my favorite songs we have written together include "Don Knotts School Of Love" and "Stupid Stocking Stuffer". I plan to add some of those songs to this page as well for your listening pleasure.
