These are pictures from Jimi's work with The Jimi Hendrix Sound, a band he formed in 1965, managed by Ed Chalpin. He even did some recordings with this band after the forming of The Experience in 1966. Most of the music available today that is not officially approved by The Hendrix Family, was recorded with the JHS.
