Smash Hits was compiled by the Reprise Record Company in 1969, when Jimi failed to fulfill his contract of making one album per year. The album was a tremendous success, especially because it contained four tracks that was not released in USA in 1967; Stone Free, Remember, Red House and Can You See Me.
