1.Give
me a Bio of Morcrof... What the name means and which is
reason of the bands existence?
Paullus: Morcrof was formed at Dec'92 by
Caecus Magice and I for proliferate all aspects of the
human existentialism as the mundane as the spiritual
conjectures sides, searching reflect ours profane souls
inside black mirror of eternal face of truth; for it the
name MORCROFilis (archaic Latin word); this name signify
"all faces of unknown death" showing ours total
philosophies and ideologies that we thinking. Morcrof
divulged the reh'94 (only in Brazil), the debut DT'96
"Scientia Ab Mortuus" (no more distributed) and
now, presenting the DT/CD-R demo'99 "Peragere Humum
Et Semem Terrai Abditae". We made various live
concerts around Brazil.
2.You've released two demo tapes
since now. Do you see some differences between these
tapes? Are you satisfies with it? How are thing going
with the sales?
Paullus: I think that our two releases
have only one darkish atmosphere and feeling, but, I must
say the "Peragere Humum Et Semem Terrai
Abditae" present quality sound better than of
"Scientia Ab Mortuus", and it's making us very
satisfied because last tape show us our own experiences
and evolution through the time! We satisfied also with
distribution of our last release, it's very good.
3.How do you see the Brazilian scene
these days? Do you recommend any Death/Black Metal band?
Paullus: Really, Brazilians underground
metal scene have very good hordes in my opinion, I can
recommend Tenebrário, Dies Irae, Intellectual Moment,
Corpus Christ, Belica Mors, Hecate, Awaking The Mighty
Dragon, Scarlet Peace, Profane Creation, Berith, Folk
Lord and other more great hordes from here. Of course at
here have also false shit bands and children bastards,
but, I not will speak about it for don't dirty that
interview.
4.What are the subjects that your
lyrics are dealing? who is responsible for that?
Paullus: The human existentialism in all
aspects and conjectures make part of ours dark theme;
Ludwick Schölzel and I generally compose the lyrics.
5.What is your opinion for:
Paullus: a) Satanism: independence; b)
A. LaVey: black messiah that showed us the truthful
essence of men; c) A. Crowley: the "Beast"; d)
Astral Projection: Incarnation; e) UFOs: I never see...;
f) Paganism: essence of natural power; g)Drugs:
Christians churches
6.Have you gave any live
performances until now? What are the plans for the
future?
Paullus: Yes, we made some powerful gigs
since our formation at Dec'92, we like to do it... about
the future plans, we think first in divulge our new
release to the dark and real folks around black scenes,
but, we also wanting to enter in studio again at final'99
to will record more 3 or 4 songs for new release next
year. It's can be one CD presenting all demos that we
recorded until now.
7.Your music has some influences as
Orchestral Classic Music? Do you share any high feeling
on that style? Will you continue in that way in the
future with Morcrof?
Paullus: Yes, Classic Music is one part
of our musical formation joined with truthful and profane
metal style for complete all feeling and darkish
atmosphere that we desire express in ours themes. It's
ever will continue present in Morcrof way.
8.To end that interview, I'd like to
have the future plans of the band and your goals.
Paullus: The plans is divulge the DT'99
"Peragere Humum Et Semem Terrai Abditae" around
dark scenes and also record new music for next release. I
have also that tanks a lot to you Valsamis, for did
opened place to us in this heretic artifact.

Paullus: To the occulted Greek folk
scene, we offer our real manifest of respect and
