PAULLUS:The Morcrof arise among dark conceptions about human existencialism by black soul native from São Paulo town at Dec'92.Since that epoch, we was recorded two stuffs; the first (no official) registered on Tape reh'94 divulged only in Brazil and the second release (that is the first official stuffs), DT'96 called "Scientia Ab Mortuus".The Morcrof has some altercation on line up, but this isn't problem for continue the heretic manifest around blasphemic scenes around world.

2. What does the name of the band actually mean?

PAULLUS:The Morcrof came from the old latim word "MORCROFILIS", writed by archaic people for signify "all type of unknowledge death"...

3. Your logo is also quite interesting with its full symmetry and the Egyptian cross in the middle.Have they some special meaning in our case?

PAULLUS:That's question is very opportune...The Morcrof's logo is reflection made inside unconscious mind of men, presenting in occult symbol among your letters.Perceive on line of your symmetry the zodiacal sign, numbers, planet sign and the self reflections of that word, when you can read also the "Morcrof"by inverted way.All this have the signify and vibration to the our funest ideologies...The Ansata cross, make also way of that logo sciences, when it the key of life and death to soul...having this just relations with the signify for name of the band, everything symbol that logo is part of representation of human existence...

4. Would you speak about your demo "Scientia Ab Mortuus"?Is This your only release?

PAULLUS:Scientia Ab Mortuus have been very good result around some dark scenes making proliferate the idealism and black faith of Morcrof.Some zines and Tape Copilations have support our work, and this is one honour to us.That DT'96 is (until moment) ours unique stuff...

5. These are many different intros, soundpieces on the tape.What roles did you intended to them?

PAULLUS:The intros create the atmosphere of glommy and melancholy...Show us prisioner inside dangeous of ourselves and our body...The intros acclaim voices coming from the darkness to torment, and the musics is our conjectures between existencial sight...All context that tape represent us the unholy dimensions on abyss of our minds, and with the union of the musics transmit more deep that darkish atmosphere.

6. The Last Song on the tape is a live cover version of Rotting Christ's "The Forest Of N'Gay".Why did you choose just this track?Do you play another cover tracks?

PAULLUS:We identify with theme caming of the "forest", besides of instrumental that song be very good too...Bathory's "Call From The Grave"and Celtic Frost "Necromantical Screams" maybe are live covers played in some Morcrof’s shows...

7. Then please speak about your live concerts!

PAULLUS:The Morcrof made very good live shows united with others profanes bands from here in bestial festivals realized inside real brazilian black scene, but, we have suffer some problems with fail of the bad equipaments for reproduce all instruments and more ours three vocals...The profane people ever go to that heretic live shows and have supported the Morcrof and all others dark real bands from here.

8. The demo cover is also pretty interesting as it showes us a wizard who is summorning a beast from the fire.What does it really express?

PAULLUS:The power of the mystic knowledge...searching all hedonic pleasure marked with fire in soul of the each man through of your mind, reproducing by fisical body the mysterious forces summorning...

9. Althrough this demo is really good, it's pretty old alread.Why haven't you recorded any new release in the two years passed?

PAULLUS:Because we thing two years is good time for divulgate that release...generally, we record ever between two years,...this is signify who at final'98 we will can have new stuffs...Await.

10. But next year you'll (hoperfully) release your debut album.Could you speak some advance infos from it?

PAULLUS:The most problem with our line up, the debut CD of Morcrof isn’t be possible in moment...I lament for this...we are rehearsal with me playing drums and bass wishing with this record new stuffs until of that year, but this get out only how second DT, that demo will contain three musics composed by old line up.

11. What themes are Morcrof's lyrics all about?Is There any lyrical conception?

PAULLUS:The lyrics of Morcrof express all negative feeling came from ours soul, showing the sincere conceptions of each Morcrof ’s members about human existencialism as the obscure spiritual conjectures as the mundane carnal life.

12. Otherwise, what wind of relations do you have to the occult sciences?

PAULLUS:My spirit search the existencial true, only this,... today i beliver who all action have your similar reaction, this is the first and more symple cosmic law...The rest are creation and procreation of opposites front universe kingdom on eternal and truthfull unique mirror, Cosmo and Chaos, Life and Death, Goodness and Evilness, Flesh and Spirits, Gods and Demons, Man and Woman, New and Old Era,and, all dual concept reflected in formation of man is make with new tradictions in basis from the old people culture (the self tradiction formerly)...The infinite ellipse of knowledge throught all dimentions since the more dawn to the more up...This is the first law of death writed by "Trimegistro" explicated just it; who everything up is how the dawn...and i beliver this today.

13. And maybe the ancient indian culture have some influences on you...

PAULLUS:The indians culture and your divine tradiction is extingüishing united with the suicide of self indians in there, we have little rest of ideologies of they...The truthfull brazilian idiom (for example) was called "Tupi-Guarani"(that’s no used more), but, because the conquest of write race, killing most red people for domain that contry (Brazil), that language and others more knowledge spreaded around forests for never more present...The Tupi-Guarani idiom no have writing form, this is made of father to son by oral way...actually today making disappear that language to forever,...we have only fragments this, and that will be only one secrets guarded by wood and forest at near future, cause the red people draw all your knowledge of winds, thunders, trees and everything more of nature stronger...The little fragments of that culture inspire me myself...

14. Brazil's rainforest have been almost all destroyed.What do you mean about this nature-destruction?

PAULLUS:The primitive self formed inside all man have only the total evil manifest, and, the man search realize ever your occult desires kept on that first soul created,and this make awakening some hedonic sentiments of destruction in all paths of Natures forces to the humanity donimion.The man consume all type of life pertained in all plains of world, this is your "natural extinct"...The man no destroyer the Nature for one special motive, but only for some motivate brought of your evil feeling of soul and nothing more, it is the how they killer themselves.

15. There are a pretty populous underground scene in your country.What's your opinion of these bands?

PAULLUS:Here have good and shits bands...

16. And what's about the European black/Death scene for you?

PAULLUS:I very like some European hordes, and i thing who Greek scene is more near to brazilian scene by form of your ideology on cults and ritos of Metal Style.

17. What purposes do you have for the future?

PAULLUS:Only record new work for proliferate among black souls ours dark philosophies around mundane vibrations to the deep ritos pertain to roots of Metal Style...Beside ours desire in have new drummer for begin new songs to debut CD and also to will make new live concerts.
