PAULLUS:The Morcrof borned of evil essence pertaining of primitive self of his members at Dec '92 to proliferating the cult of ExtremeMusic and BlackArt , absorbed with influences inside root of Metal style.At July ' 96 , the Morcrof out with his debut DT called "Scientia Ab Mortuus" , containing with powerful result and good return around various obscures scenes , showing musics and lyrics speaking the pure dubious of our mind about human existencialism theme in deep sight mundane side.We has various line up , but this isn ' t end ours sequence of ideology.The formation of that first work was Ludwick Schölzel - Voices , C ' Bontus - Keyboards , R 'Bressan - Lead Guitar , Pétro Nilo - Lead Guitar , Paullus Moura - Bass / High Vocal and Beah Gêne's Hajj-Ahriman - Drums / Sings.We divulgate that stuffs in some live shows in greats festival united also powerful and occults brazilians bands.In momet,we rehearsal to record new stuffs soon.

2. What are the messages in your musics?Is it only a way to express your dark feeling?Or do you want to take the auditors in darkness and hate?

PAULLUS:I thing all man is evil and the human race is formed for negative energy in your primitive self. All man like see disgrace , war , murder , kill , orgies , some vice , and all more mundane manifest.No exist good man but , repressive minds with little comprehension about life or death , in one frenetic search in mirror of eternal truth. To know and to assume the evil is accept yourself (the first self).Perceive until one "good"man consume the life , our extinct survive make us consume everything type of life in all reing (mineral , vegetable , animal and rational kingdoms) , we ever kill to survive , we are sinner and cannot flee of this , only assumie the evil...It is one bigest path to evolution.This is our message and musical feeling .It is come only of ours minds ideology.

3. Why did you chose Morcrof for the band 's name?What can you comment us about that stranger name?

PAULLUS:That name come of latim word MORCROFILIS and signify "all type of unknowledge death",and that word was used for achaic people for denominate some misterious of cause death.That name reflect my pensament about ethereal and material existencialism.

4. Does Morcrof have something really new to bring us?

PAULLUS:The Morcrof have new line up.We are playing with new drummer called Slaughter , but he still be tasting...We wish record new stuff at final ' 98.

5. Explain us your views on death.What ' s your reason to live or to die?

PAULLUS:Everything pertaing the atmosphere of death is conjecture...I beliver in energy keeping the matter and the power of mind (i thing and because this, i exist).The immortality cannot be eternity,but the cicle of curse existencial can (compared the Microcosm and Macrocosm);but and the ours conscience?Keep united or spread all energy around planet to the formation of others lifes?The unique answer is go travel in self mind searching the eternal truth ,the each man have you self true but,how can exist this if the supreme truth is only one?Of all form , we are ever confined in ours bodies , in ritos , cultures , races ... The real freedom no exist but only that sentiments of liberty. Maybe be it the secret of elixir of life and death,the essence of feeling.The men live in your limitations of knowledge , the progression is one ellipse graduate causing the return in old basis for differents forms to reborn in new evolution.In the Morcrof , most member beliver in death how is be final of everything and nothing more.

6. How have been the reactions after the release of your demo "Scientia Ab Mortuus"?What has been done after the releases of your demo until now?

PAULLUS:"Sientia Ab Mortuus"is one work with very good repercussion to us.We distribute enough copies around various abscures scenes of world with greats pacts among severals bands and zines.The Morcrof have done divulgation of the demo through live shows and mail order.In moment , we are compose new songs because wish record other tape at final ' 98.

7. Please , introduce the Morcrof members and tell something about their personalities and musical past.Who is the creative force in Morcrof?How are the songs and lyrics created?Please give an example of Morcrof 's lyrics.

PAULLUS:We are six impures members with different characteristic fisical and differents descendance,but we have the comum desires...the desecrete ours vomits in lyrics and occults accords destined to tormented souls who search the darkish knowledge.We all have much time inside metal scene (since final decade at 70);the Ludwick Schölzel is totality septic as the R 'Bressan too ,but both expression of opposites forms of aggreesive attitudes, C 'Bontus and i have much comum spiritual desease - the melancholy and madness tendences - and Petros Nilo and Slaughter are very honest in cult of extreme music.All ours musical formation was around SimphoniesClassicalObscuresOperas and DeathDoomDarkBalckAtmosphericMetal style , thus it's good for compose...Generally i composed the basis united with R'Bressan , and the others members band work on the riffs for develop all music , but C 'Bontus and Pétros Nilo also make basis riffs too.The lyrics of our first relese speak about nihilistic life -("The nothing is begin for all creation;the cicle of immortallity reaches culmination;The sorrow humanity leaves existence;for everything the return to the void exodus.)- and speak also ours existence buried in ours bodies and conceptions -("Confined to cemeteries of your choices;simply aren't more liveundead;accepting that your fear of maturity;...").

8. How about live gigs?Have you ever performed in public?

PAULLUS:yes,we have ever performed in public and to side of greats bands from here.

9. Can you mention any brazilian bands worth to check out?

PAULLUS:Yes.Some brazilians bands are worth,but the enough of goods bands is occulted.At São Paulo town exist my prefers hordes called Dies Irae, Intoctum, Tenebrarioand Guehenom.Out São Paulo state, i know more bands,i have listen actuallity Intellectual Moment, Corpus Christ and Malkuth.

10. Are there any side-projects or other band in which some of you is involved?

PAULLUS:Actuallity i suport "Eris Maestus" band with the your old member; and this is one project-band with only i and Acherus - guitars.C 'Bontus have also other project of AtmosphericDarkAmbientMusic called "Waheitstag" and Pétros Nilo play in "Bellica Mors"band too.But,all thats bands are second plans because the Morcrof is ours intention and reason of ours life.

11. Do you belive in a life after death?Do you think that life is just a strange illusion?What's your opinion of those who kill themselves?

PAULLUS:I don't know,ask me to myself this all night,but nobody answer me.I wish much beliver in life after death, but i am void of faith and conjectures.For other side,the universe is great mirror of creation,and we are reflection it,...we are God,we are Satan, we have that both forces and all make part of universal law,if you kill,if you murder,if you help other persons ,if you pray to angel or demons no import, that's righ...everything was keep to explorer the reason, and the man have that condiction.Kill for clear honour is good... the really, we will know if exist life after death only in final of ours indivudual time.Await...

12. If you had only one day left to live, what would you do?

PAULLUS: I don't know,i only life each days.

13. If there exist something like reincarnation, who of the famous personalities in history you might have been?

PAULLUS:Caligula, Napoleon and Hitler has only one spirits.But it is can be or not can be...I replay;everything after death is conjectures...

14. What do you want to reach with Morcrof?

PAULLUS:We wish only play ours musics and idealism for fortify the real and blackish latim acene.
