1.I've
never heard about Morcrof since you sent me a promo copy
of your great Demo-Tape. Can you introduce your band to
us (history, discography, etc...)?
PAULLUS: The Morcrof was formed at
Dec'92 in profane night from São Paulo town. The
original line up composed twelve music with hateful
feeling, and it was registered on tape Reh'94 containing
ten songs, divulged only in Brazil. After this, the
Morcrof altercation some members until the record of
official DT'96 "Scientia Ab Mortuus" and also
of VT'97 "Live In São Paulo" containing parts
of two gigs. Today, we are rehearsal very much for
register new release... We will record nine songs
composed between years 95 and 98. Wait for this soon.
Ours philosophy blend the Extreme Music with ours own
unholy first negative soul,... The Morcrof's music
reflect us this.
2.How would you explain meaning of
the word "Satanism" to me?
PAULLUS: Hedonic search of ours more
deep desires in misanthropy and others more consume of
life by survive joined with pleasure. That
"word" is the key of gates to knowledge of the
men...
3.There is a great bonus in the demo
live cover track of Rotting Christ. Any other cover? Also
I wondered about the cool sound of it. How are the shows
in Brazil? Any special experiences?
PAULLUS: Yes, we played others cover on
stage... "Necromantical Screams" (by Celtic
Frost) and "Call From The Grave" (by Bathory)
are some it. Generally, the live shows in Brazil suffer
with just problems when the real scene in there want
biggest support for make concerts with more quality sound
( ...the festivals here are organized by own bands and
also by some little persons helping in the organization
of stage and equipment)... The truthful Brazilian people
have several underground attitude and are very fanatic
for the blackish sound, no accepting bastards movies
inside Metal scene how children, religions, false
ideologies, etc...This isn't signify in there no exist
most Rip Off, by contrary, here have much that shit
person, but, the profane real people close connections
with that rot and false race with great lot of repulse
and hostile for repellence of them...This transforming
the Brazilian scene in anything individual system, with
specifics Black Metal movies in each regions of country,
so unknown...
4.I've got the 71st copy of your
work which is very low number. Do you have some problems
with distribution or the main problem is money (like
here)?
PAULLUS: Really, the biggest problem for
us is the lack money for send ours stuffs and keep more
contacts with enough Magazines and Distributions
-(mail-order list)- around scenes of world... But, we are
satisfied with final result of Scientia Ab Mortuus,
because of the good acceptation among darkish souls when
listen our music... this have been fortify the Morcrof
work. We thing is before all, we play for ideologies and
hedonic philosophy united by dark music coming from
ourselves for to ourselves, after this we thing in vast
distribution...
5.I heard something there are some
chances for Morcrof's CD. How is it now?
PAULLUS: It's can be possible, but no is
certainty. We don't have most support for this... First
all, we will valuation the quality and production on new
record tape, for after we decide if stuffs get how CD or
2º DT.
6.Other plans for future?
PAULLUS: Only proliferate the cult of
Extreme Music and Dark Art to real people.
