The 77 Sunset Club in Barry was one of the places where many of the early South Wales groups performed.

Here is a flyer for an appearance of Crick Feather's Hill-Billy's (alias Dave's Dandies), at a barn dance at the 77 Sunset Club. The date of the gig is 16 December 1960 and features: "Crick Feathers (Dave) lead guitar / Zeke Doolan - bass guitar / Tenessee Tony - vocals / Tommy Keys - piano / Hank Two Sticks - drums"
