1.First of all, do you can tell us
about the band and last demo.
Paullus: Morcrof is real dark horde from
Brazil that search philosophies about human
existentialism, that reflected it inside black mirror of
the eternal truth of life and death, enjoined with all
negative feeling came from abyss of our own heretic soul;
it is the pure essence of Morcrof existence. Ours lyrics
and music are make on line of that conjectures ideology,
showed in ours releases. The last work is called DT'99
"Peragere Humum Et Semem Terrai Abditae" (also
in CD-R demo) with seven songs, containing bio'92/98 and
color cover presenting printed informative showing photo,
logo, inform release'99 and 3 lyrics. The quality of that
new stuffs is better than of our old debut DT.
2.Do you can explain what the
meaning of "Scientia Ab Mortuus"? And how do
you work to make the songs with added Indian instruments
and some keyboards & flute; what do you thing to
describe this black metal style?
Paullus: The music of Morcrof is make
ever joined with our own feeling and lyric themes; for
it, we using some others more instruments that express
each parts of songs in one natural composition.
Keyboards, flute, acoustic guitars and percussion in
generally are important elements to complete our black
art in several Orchestral Dark Black Metal. About the
title "Scientia Ab Mortuus"; it's signify in
English idiom "Science Of The Dead".
3.Do you have some influences by
others bands?
Paullus: Yes, our influence came from
principals metal hordes at decade of 70, 80 and 90.
4.How do you plain to promote your
releases?
Paullus: We promote our release only
around real scenes through by letters contacts and some
gigs that we search to play with another profanes hordes
from here. This is just form that promote us.
5.What your opinion about Nordic
black metal? Do you have contact with them and what about
black metal scene in Brazil today?
Paullus: I like the sounds, melodies and
harmonies made by Nordic black metal hordes and I have
little contacts with some them, but I not pay for any
Nordic CDs because I don't like of your nazi ideologies -
I not sustain any neo-nazi organization. I am one
Brazilian man and this ideology don't have place in my
life. By the way, Satan is democratic, and for it all
people that search independence and liberty of himself
acts and conceptions are accept in your blackish kingdom.
At Brazil, the black metal scene is going to powerful
union of ideologies and fortification among all states of
my country; at the moment the important for us is the
construction of only one philosophies similar for all
that will represent the real Brazilian metal manifest,
joining our own old school metal with new great bands
that arise here.
6.What your plans for future,
releasing new album? And do have Morcrof labels to sign?
Paullus: The plans at moment is only
divulge our new release to all darkish folk around world
and make also some gigs at Brazil to present our new line
up. After it, we thinking register new songs for our
possible debut CD; we do contact with one label at here
(São Paulo town) that show us interested in record our
new release, but, it's not so confirmed.
7.By the way, you are fascinated by
magic and occult power?
Paullus: Yes, the studies of occulted
knowledge fascinate us, making it part of our search
existential.
8.Do you can give the words of you
to Indonesian metal fans and last words of this
interview?
Paullus: Hail Indonesian people, I want
to play in your country at one future day... who know? I
wish also in know more hordes from there for fortify one
real contact between ours dark scenes!
