Alexis decided to finally get ready for her night out with Joey. She went
upstairs and jumped into the shower. She got out and picked out what she was
going to wear. After she was dressed, she stood in front of her full length
mirror in her bedroom. Damn, I look pretty good! She was wearing a black
mini skirt, a silver tube top, black knee-high boots, and her long blonde hair was
down. She applied her makeup and went downstairs. She grabbed her purse and
left. When she arrived at club Chaos, she couldn't believe how crowded it
was. Just finding a place to park was awful. The line to get into the club
wrapped around the block. Alexis walked right up to the main door. She felt
everyone's eyes on her. She walked up to the doorman who was standing
between 2 huge bouncers.
"My name's Alexis Murray..."
"Oh yes, Miss Murray. Mr. Fatone is expecting you." The bouncers stood aside and Alexis walked in.
When she got in she realized why everyone was dying to get in. The place was great! There were laser and strobe lights everywhere and the music was terrific. Alexis didn't know where to begin to look for Joey. She decided to just have a good time and she made her way onto the crowded dance floor. They were playing Genuwine's "So Anxious", which Alexis loved. She began dancing and 2 guys surrounded her. One was in front of her and the other one behind her. They began grinding to the rhythm of the music.
"Hey, ya'll having a good time?", the DJ said on the mic. Everyone made a deafening roar. "Yo, check out baby in the middle!" he said.
A spotlight swung around a pointed at Alexis dancing with the guys. Joey was up in his reserved booth talking with some women. He glanced over at the dance floor and saw who the spot light was on. He got up, leaving the bimbos looking after him. He made he way through the crowd to Alexis.
"Excuse me fellas, she's with me," he said pulling Alexis away. He pulled her close to him as they began dancing. "I didn't know you were here baby."
"Well, you do now."
"I'm glad you came."
"Just wait, the night isn't over yet," she whispered in his ear.
She looked into his eyes as their lips met. The kiss was deep and passionate. Alexis knew then that she was definitely gettin' some that night.
"I'm going to call the police!" Michelle yelled running to a nearby payphone.
She hated herself for leaving her cell at home. JC continued running around the park scanning the crowds for Tyler.
"Tyler!"
Time stood still. JC knew he could not go on without his son. Michelle got to the payphone and saw a man on it. "Hey I need to use that phone."
"Wait you're turn lady."
"Look, I need to call the police so get off the damn phone!" Michelle grabbed the phone away from the man and pushed him away. The man gave her a dirty look but she didn't care. She dialed 911.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"My friend's son is missing. We're at Palmer Park and he's gone!"
"Calm down ma'am, how long has the child been missing?"
"I don't know, we turned around and he wasn't there!"
"Are you sure the child isn't hiding?"
"Yes, I'm sure now get the police here now!"
Michelle wanted to kill the operator. She wanted the police to get there and find Tyler. She was getting ready to tell the operator where they were exactly when she noticed something in the corner of her eye. She turned and dropped the receiver. "Tyler!" she yelled. She saw Tyler bouncing a ball near the street. She ran toward him as she saw him walk into the street after the ball. Michelle knew she was running at top speed but she felt like she wasn't moving. She thought her heart would stop when she saw a car speeding down the street. "Tyler!"
