"Dude, where are you? I've been waiting for like 10 minutes."
"Chill, I'm on my way now."
"Okay, hurry up."
"It's just the first day of school. What's the emergency?"
"Josh has been totally stressin' me out. He's paged me 6 times this morning."
"So, why are you in such a hurry to see him?"
"I'm not. I wanna show off my new clogs!"
"Alright, I'm outie."
"Ok, later."
Kiara hung up her phone and went downstairs. She left her house and got into the cherry red jeep her father had just gotten her. It was the first day of her junior year at Bronson Alcott High School. She finally got to her best-friend Carolyn's house. Carolyn came out of her house and got into the jeep.
"Yeah, I love the clogs!"
"Thanks."
"So, shall we grace Bronson with our presence?"
"Lets!"
Kiara and Carolyn had been best-friends all of their lives and were the most popular girls at school. They assumed they had normal lives but they lived every girls' dream. They are beautiful but not bimbos like some think. They had good common sense but when it comes to dealing with the real world, especially love, they are clueless as can be.
