This happened to me about a month ago...
One day when I was working at target on the sales floor, I was paged over head to call the
operator. This is usually to take a phone call or something. well I was busy with
something, I was hauling a flatbed of merchandise one the sales floor to stock. I was
heading over to a telephone to call the operator to see what she wanted when I heard them
page me over head again, but using my whole name, first and last name.
I am the only person in the store with my name, so there was really no reason for it, and it
kinda pissed me off.
So, I called the operator and said that if they needed to get ahold of me I would appreciate it
if they not use my last name overhead. well the operator happened to be the stores
Personell lady, and she was like, excuse me, what do you have a problem with me using
your full name overhead? and I said, uh yes, isnt that what I had just said??
Well, so she got pissed and called me into the office to talk with her, and not just speak
with her, she had to actually ask another executive to come into the office with her and
pretty muxh do all the talking, and came in after I was done talking with him and said that
she thought the way I came at her was rude.
Oh Well!! I told her again in person that I didnt want my last name said overhead, and that
if she thought I was rude that I apologize. but I wasnt rude. she just got pissed that
someone talked back at her and I cought her off guard.
