Today I got to meet our stores new assistant manager.
I met her when she called me into her office to tell me that it has come to her attention
that I have been taking breaks longer than 15 minutes. (bullshit!)
About 2 hours previous I was on my break and sitting in the employees lounge when our
new recovery person (he just got promoted, kissed enuff ass I guess) came into the lounge
kinda gave me a dirty look and sat down. well a few minutes later I saw/heard him talking
to the new assistant manager about breaks (didn¹t really hear everything that was said).
So when she called me into her office and said this, it was pretty damn obvious who it
came from. Funny thing tho, I have my watch¹s count down timer set to 15 minutes which
I use for my lunches and breaks (as I have ever since I started working at target) and I
count down my breaks untill there done and then go back to work. needless to say I do
NOT take excessive breaks, its just another bullshit story about the things that happen at
target.
Oh, and when I asked to who it had come from she said she couldnt tell that information,
like I am fucking stupid or something!!
When I left her office tho I told her to pass along to others that if they had a problem with
me, I would appreciate it if they were to come to me and talk to me and not be a pussy and
have someone else do it for them, that I deserved at least that much. Funny thing is she
agreed.
