RECEIVED SUGGESTIONS AND COMMENTS

Best original song from a movie soundtrack  - My Heart Will go on Rejected because it's no rock at all
Best soundtrack – StarWars Rejected because it's not rock music
Many unknown submitted by David Bourque Rejected - way too much unknown to be added to the list.
Best Greatest Hits – Plastic Bertrand Rejected because it cannot be considered as international material (I'm actually not even sure if it shipped in the U.S.).
some old prodigy Rejected because the 2 first Prodigy albums were techno, not the techno-rock they introduced with The Fat of the Land.
Most Underrated Band – Type O Negative Rejected - good idea, but there was no "underrated band" category, there was only an "underrated album" category...
Best Song Cover (remake) – [RAMMSTEIN] Stripped Rejected - it's not been an international single. I know it's been in Germany, but not in North America, for example.
Most underrated album – any from Blur Good suggestion
Rock or Alternative - The Eels in any related category Believe it or not, Beautiful Freak from Eels was indeed in the first draft of my list of nominees for "best debut album", but I dropped it in the final version to keep only 10 nominees instead of 11 ! In other categories, it would have been a little tougher, but it's not a bad suggestion.
Sloan for Rock related categories (Canadian) Rejected - well, the regional (so Canadian) categories were dropped for technical reasons. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.
Slayer Rejected - for what, best rock band?
Note that the 2 accepted suggestions (Blur and Eels) were not counted in the vote results because it was simpler and wouldn't have make much difference. I'm really sorry about that, but I appreciate very much that some people used the "comment / suggestion" field instead of maybe sometimes just keeping their ideas for themselves.
