Band History

As you may know, every band has got together in some way or another. So this is the story of how *N Sync got together. Some say it was by faith, others a miracle, but who really cares? They sound great! Well anyway here's the story, if you haven't heard it already....

Back in 1995, Chris Kirkpatrick the eldest member of the well-known  pop sensation group *N Sync was then singing in a 50's doo-wop group at Universal Studios. Then he met Lou Pearlman who is an entrepreneur who was working at Trans Continental Companies, he thought if Lou could put the money behind the group then he'd have a chance to make it big.
It was then the phones had begun to ring. Through his agent, Chris heard about Justin Timberlake, who was then, a Memphis High School student and also had worked on the TV show, The Mickey Mouse Club, along with Joshua (JC) Chasez. The show was later canceled.
So Chris called Justin, and Justin called JC. He and JC both moved to Orlando. There they went to a nightclub at Disney's Pleasure Island, were they bumped in to the four *N Syncer, Joey Fatone. At the time Joey was working at Universal Studios performing in the "Beetle Juice Graveyard Revue."
But yet they still weren't complete. They had the right sound, but was missing a bass voice.
Justin contacted his old vocal coach and asked for any suggestions on a bass voice. That's were Lance came in. He was then a High School student at Clinton Mississippi. He was in a singing group who traveled around the state.
They were listed under the same manager as the Backstreet Boys, Johnny Wright. The plan was to record an album, tour and promote it in Europe, then return to America to conquer the States.
As you may know, the plan was a success! Now take a look at these guys. They're first album went dimond (selling more then 10 million copies!), and in three weeks after the release, "No Strings Attached" went Triple Platinum!
