I'm not sure of the generations of the filler at
the moment. There are some errors with the 1/1/91
source tape that are on all copies, including
fluctuations in the volume at some points and
some skips/sound dropouts. Notable skips are
at ~43s into Aneurysm, ~15s and 1:05 into
Radio Friendly Unit Shifter, and at 2:40 and
3:56 into all Apologies. Even in His Youth
also cuts in, a complete version of this and
Aneurysm were released on the Smells Like Teen
Spirit single. Oh, the Guilt has no vocals,
while Radio Friendly Unit Shifter and Token
Eastern Song have some guide vocals but they
are barely audible for the most part.
The first set of filler are from tapes of Kurt
singing and talking as an infant, recorded by
his aunt. The second set of filler is of phone
calls to Victoria Clark from Kurt's aunt, Kurt,
and Courtney. They're pretty strange, some are
very threatening and they are all focused
around her releasing a book with claims about
Kurt and Courtneys drug use and pregnancy.
