Let's get the EP out of the way. The songs suck (except for "Locust"), the singer is far too sweet and the production is way too slick. Now let's get to the LP, which is everything the 7" isn't. The songs are incredible. Vocalist Cinder Block has put some aggression into her singing that takes the tunes over the top. The production is more basic and the playing is a bit crazier. While I'm aware that nearly every band with a female singer gets slapped with this comparison, Tilt really does sound like what X oughta sound like these days. Forget the EP but if you don't get the LP, you're a dope.
